Hosting Fees
- Website Hosting Setup: $50
- Website Hosting: $25 per month for up to 50 MB
- Domain Name Setup: $50 per domain
- Domain Name Registration: $25 per year*
- E-mail Hosting: $10 per account per month for up to 25 MB (bulk discount available for 8 or more accounts)
Domain registration and e-mail are available as part of a package with hosting. Lantern does not offer stand-alone domain registration or e-mail services.
*Additional fees may apply for domain extensions other than .com, .org or .net.
Design and Programming
In addition to providing web hosting and e-mail, Lantern can also build a website for you. We will work with you to develop the design and functionality that best presents your organization.
Our web staff consists of experienced professionals in the field of visual layout, interface design and web programing. We will help you make wise choices and build a website that is attractive, informative, and user-friendly.
We offer many features such as:
- A robust forum, which includes a calendar, member-to-member messaging, member profiles, a search function, multiple access levels for different user groups, "hidden" forums for only certain members, easy maintenance by forum "administrators" and "moderators," and a number of other features.

- A site-wide search that will easily help visitors to find what they're looking for.
- A mailing list program that sends e-mail in both HTML and plain text format. The program automatically removes bouncing members, allows members to update their own accounts and to subscribe and unsubscribe automatically through a simple web interface.
- An online quiz, with the questions you choose, that scores automatically and tells users their results.
- We can promote your site to the major search engines in order to help improve your rank in search results.

Maintenance
Once a Web site has been created, it needs to be maintained.
Lantern has a turnaround time of 72 hours; we will add new content to your website within three business days of our receiving it. Our ad hoc maintainance fee is $100 per hour. We can also negotiate a monthly flat fee to post, update, or modify an unlimited amount of material on your site.
Marketing
How do people find out about your site? Lantern will make sure your site is effectively registered with all major search engines. We will work with you to ensure that your regular customers know about the site and begin to use it. We will help provide you with links to and from as many relevant web sites as possible.
We can also establish an electronic newsletter that goes out to your customers on a regular basis (see above for details).
